WHAT IF I LINK TO A THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE FROM THE LAUGHACTIVE WEBSITE?
When you click links and/or banners that take you to third party websites, you will be subject to the third parties’ privacy policies. We encourages you to review the privacy policies of such sites, as their practices may differ from ours. LaughActive is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the LaughActive Services.
HOW IS THE PERSONAL INFORMATION USED?
LaughActive collects and uses your personal information to operate the LaughActive website and deliver the services you have requested. LaughActive also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from LaughActive and its affiliates. LaughActive may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.
Only in a way that would not allow you or any other person to be identified, we may prepare and share information about our customers with third parties, such as advertisers or partners, for research, academic, marketing and/or promotional purposes. We may publicly report the aggregated findings of the research or analysis, but only in a way that would not allow you or any other person to be identified.

WHAT ABOUT COOKIES?
The LaughActive website uses “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a webpage server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize LaughActive pages, or register with LaughActive site or services, a cookie helps LaughActive to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same LaughActive website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the LaughActive features that you customized.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the LaughActive services or websites you visit.
HOW DOES THE LAUGHACTIVE PROTECT CUSTOMER INFORMATION?
LaughActive secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. LaughActive secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. It is important for you to protect unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Classroom Training Events:
If you find that you are unable to attend one of LaughActive’s Classroom Training events, you have two options:
- Send a substitute. Substitutions can be made at any time – even onsite at the event. (Please have the substitute bring your letter of confirmation to the registration desk).
- Receive credit for future course. If you are unable to attend a live classroom training, we will be happy to issue you an in-house credit for the certification you did not attend. The credit is good for 12 months and may be used for an online or classroom training program. Request for a credit must be made in writing within 10 days of the originally scheduled classroom certification.
LaughActive reserves the right to cancel any classroom training due to insufficient enrollment at least 30 calendar days in advance of the scheduled course date. Notice will be provided with the option to reschedule for a future classroom training date, transfer registration to the online training program, or to receive a full refund of registration fees. LaughActive is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the customer if a classroom training event is cancelled.
If a training class is cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances such as weather or natural disaster, the customer is entitled to reschedule for a future Classroom Training event or enroll in the online Instructor Training Program.
